Products Enhanced Rear Obstacle Sensing Performance
LAURINBURG, NC - In response to consumer feedback,
Rostra Precision Controls has added a new automatic reset to its entire
line of Rear Obstacle Sensing System (ROSS(tm)) kits. The digital,
microprocessor-based ROSS system, available to the automotive
aftermarket in February 2004, automatically resets itself once the
target or obstacle is no longer detected, effectively eliminating most
false alarms.
"The change was made to address the number one
concern ROSS owners had - that once the obstacle is out of range of the
system (such as a person walking behind the vehicle or the shopping cart
you pass in the lot) the system resets itself back to green and
automatically begins searching for the next obstacle," said Ron Hudnell,

Controls. "This updated ROSS, which replaces the original ROSS product
without the auto-reset feature, is much more consumer-friendly as a

ROSS kits are available for most automotive and
